What you will do
- Develop custom automation framework in Java to test backend end application consisting of File based interface;
- Good understanding and implementation of Git practices and branching strategy;
- Mentor and assist with Junior Developers in the team with technical and business domain knowledge;
- Communicate with other stakeholders like Engineering Manager, QA Manager and Product;
- Develop and Schedule Jenkins Pipelines or Gitlab or similar;
- Basic understanding and testing application performance using JMeter or Gatling.
Must haves
- Proficient in developing and maintaining Complex Java based automation frameworks from scratch using design patterns;
- Experience working as Java SDET UI Automation Engineer;
- AWS experience;
- Proficient in designing and maintaining automation solutions to run in Jenkins;
- Proficient in designing test cases from business requirements and technical implementation;
- Developed testing solutions using Risk based approach;
Nice to haves
- Data testing experience;
- Developed Java based concurrent automation frameworks using JSON parsers like GSON/ Jackson.
