Middle/Senior AQA Python Engineer

• What you will do

• Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to deliver fast with Quality;
• Documents software defects, track the issues and works toward a resolution;
• Able to debug, analyze and work with Developers;
• Experience working with tools like JIRA and working in an Agile environment;
• Actively collaborate with developers, Product manager to shape the product and deliver product releases;
• Provide feedback to the team on product quality, call out risks/ issues, and can balance quality with time-bound delivery;
• Reviews requirements and participates in requirements and design reviews;
• Production deployment support and incident support;
• Work tightly with the development team to incorporate API, structural, integration, regression functional, and non-functional testing processes and tools;
• Set up reporting processes to provide transparency and visibility of product quality;
• Documents software defects, track the issues and works toward a resolution;
• Reviews requirements and participates in requirements and design reviews;
• Production deployment support and incident support.

• Must haves

• Senior QA Engineer with about 3+ years of experience as a QA Automation Engineer, Software Development;
• Engineer in Test (SDET), or similar Automation role;
• Automation experience using Java/ Python + Backend system;
• Open and comfortable with manual testing and test case creation;
• Experience designing and implementing automation frameworks and test cases automation;
• Demonstrated programming skills in Java, Python;
• ETL understanding would be a plus with SQL understanding;
• Prior success as an individual QA Engineer embedded within a product team;
• Experience with all phases of software testing including test planning, functional testing, and regression testing;
• Experience with designing and implementing test frameworks and tooling;
• Strong QA Fundamentals:
• Experience with Manual Testing with Strong QA fundamentals;
• Rich expertise in the backend system and API testing;
• Ability to write test cases;
• Strong manual testing skills: all layers of backend, service layer, and database levels and in a basic level in web applications, including front-end;
• Define test strategy and Scope of testing;
• Create well-documented New Features and System Testing test cases;
• Create Test Plans and estimates efforts for testing;
• Testing;

• Integration Testing;
• Regression Testing;
• Selenium;
• Cookie injection;
• Iframes;
• Grid;
• Mockito library;
• Dependency injection;
